For the past sixteen years I have been Senior Lecturer on the MA and PhD programmes and on the Professional Training programme at Regent's College School of Psychotherapy & Counselling. On my retirement from academic work last year, I was appointed Honorary Visting Fellow.
Main areas of professional work:
- people going through times of transition;
- addictive behaviour and its meaning within intimate relationships;
- extensive experience of working therapeutically with senior executives in the corporate world;
- clinical supervision of practising psychotherapists.
Experience and Qualifications
My early professional experience was as a professionally-qualified social worker and
counsellor. During this time I trained in family therapy, psychodynamic counselling and
group work. Subsequently I researched and was awarded a Ph.D. (1991, London University).
Qualifications: Ph.D., B.Sc, CQSW.

Areas of special interest
Therapeutic work with people who:
- have difficulties in relationships,
- lack self esteem,
- feel cut off from their emotions,
- are trying to find meaning in their lives.
